Founded in 1979 by Griet Talpe & Etienne Kaesteker, e5 Mode celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2019. Their motto was to stay top of heart with their clients through true personal service. e5 Mode had 70 stores in Flanders and Wallonia and employed about 450 people during our implementation.

Goal

With a fairly newly implemented e-commerce solution, e5 Mode was ready to take their online sales to the next level. They wanted to track their customer's online behaviour in order to offer their leads and customers an even more personalized experience. The implementation of marketing automation & cleaning up of the data were part of a bigger strategy to accommodate and service the new & existing B2C clients of e5 Mode.

Solution

In order to capture e5's requirements and get insight in the marketing roadmap we held several interactive implementation workshops.

It soon became clear that data management was a topic that needed to be addressed in-depth. After several sessions with our data architect we decided on the best strategy for data management. Doing this exercise eventually had a huge positive impact on the entire organisation.

Once the system was implemented and integrated it was time to onboard the team. With multiple training sessions we were able to set-up our first simple campaigns in a co-creational mode. We proceeded in a "run mode" where we regularly challenge and support e5 mode.

Result

We implemented Adobe Campaign Classic according to the e5's way of working and strategic roadmap. The marketing automation system was seemlessly integrated in e5's current architecture to ensure data availability and accuracy.

By delivering the implementation in a co-creational mode, providing trainings and sharing best practices, the team was onboarded and empowered to set up complex campaigns.
